A true pioneer in the industry for the past three generations, JP- Cattle Ranch has actively chosen females and herd sires to grow not only our own program, but also support breeders from all over California. The Plummer's
JP Bar Ranch was established in 1973 when John Plummer bought his first Shorthorn cow. It has lasted through his son, Juston Plummer who showed cattle all through his youth. JP Bar Ranch has grown by Juston's marriage to Gena and their 4 children (Juston J., Faith, Devonie & Danelle). The ranch has grown to multiple locations, including the Herald Homestead Ranch. The breeding program has grown immensely, and our hope is to see it continue into Plummer generations to come.
